St george Trip

We go to St George every year in sept/oct.  We stay in our condos there (which we love) and then go to a play at the Tuachan.  this year we went down sep 22-24th
We had a nice drive down, we stopped and saw Jada and took her to lunch.  we saw her place and met some friends.
On monday morning Marshall got up early and went golfing with my dad who happened to be there for work that week.  I got up and realized I hadn't packed any contacts.  Let me tell you that was one of those I don't know what I was thinking moment.   so after we got my contacts (it was 2 pm) we took libby (because she had been fabulous all morning) to a nearby park and nature reserve type place.  and we fed the ducks and let her ride her bike all over the place.

Reese enjoyed the scenery and her bottle, and Marshall and Libby fed the ducks for 30 min.

Look I am in a picture!!

Look there was a turtle in the duck pond!!

This is how we walk when you bring that bad stroller and you have a sleeping baby

Libby and I are sitting on the couch hanging out watching tv all morning and eating healthy snacks.

So Grandpa Stonehocker worked in St george and offered to help us watch Reese (sleep) while we took Libby to the play.

Libby turns 5!!!

September 14 2008 this little ball of fire was born --
5 years later she is still a ball of fire, mixed with sensitivity towards others, she is loving, and has lots of creativity,
Libby wanted to eat at applebee's for dinner so that is what she got.  She loved that they sang to her and she ate all her dinner and Loved the dessert she got too.

After a full evening spent having fun with libby the baby fell asleep eating her bottle.

Birthday party at grandma Stonehocker's house, with cupcakes and candles too.

and again I hope the new iPhone camera is all they say it will be.

Photo skills

Well here's to hoping that the new iPhone will really take better pictures.
We helped my mom out for several days over the past few weeks, because she hurt her back.
Reese really liked the toys and the dog.  Oh, wait she also really likes putting things in her mouth and then make a humming type noise.  Either a sock, a burp rag, or an unused wipe.

the last first day

Today(sept 5th) was Libby's last first day of preschool (she has had 3 now).
She was super excited to go back to school and I can't tell you how much I enjoy her being there.
She really loves learning and her teacher.

After her first day we decided to go to lunch. She wanted to go to Wingers but the one near our house was closed, so we ended up at "Pizza Factory".  We ordered and tried to eat our food.  But can I tell you it was disgusting?  Libby's tasted awful, and mine was hardly edible.  She did, however, like coloring her menu.

Labor Day festivities

Marshall was somewhere on Labor Day... I can't really remember where. Oh wait, I remember now, he went golfing with my dad.  So I took Libby and Reese to run some errands.  We went to Orem to go shopping for Libby to have an outfit for the first day of school.  But first, the "HOT" sign was on at Krispy Kreme.  Libby enjoyed watching the donuts get made.  Reese wanted one and so she kept screaming at the window.

For lunch we had a BBQ at the Stonehocker's,  GiGi and grandpa price were there, and 3 other couples from my parents ward.  Afterwards we left early enough to take the girls to a movie.  Libby loved seeing Monsters University and Reese was pretty happy as long as she was standing.  By the end of the night both girls were tuckered out and so ready for bed.  As you can tell by the picture of Reese falling asleep eating.

We also made Homemade ice cream in a bag to see how it would do for Libby's birthday party.  I decided that I didn't want to have to shake all of their ice cream (Libby gave up after 1 min)

girl-friends

Saturday August 31st

Libby was playing with Reese and they have so much fun together.

Libby loves to take pictures and here was Reese getting ready to eat

We went and "watched" (as best we could) Trey play in a tournament baseball game.  Libby was so excited to play with Brevin.  They sat down for a few seconds and I got a shot of them relaxing.

Andy enjoyed playing with Reese!

So this picture needs some explaining.

Reese is sound asleep and this is how she was positioned when I went to check on her.  I put her to bed wrapped in a blanket like a burrito.  She loves her little Bear too.

Libby let Reese have a "little boy" (it was a happy meal Ninja Turtle) and she loved it, along with the Princess and the Frog doll.

We Had some friends (the Wiser's) over to watch a BYU Football game and they came with Mt  Dew Cupcakes that Marshall enjoyed.
Libby was in the tub and Reese wanted to be where Libby was. So we sat her in the Bumbo and as you can tell it is not her favorite place to be.
