Not eveyone was around this friday the 11th of october. But our hearts were all in the same place.... on haley. It had been 1 year since she passed into the eternities. 1 year that we have moved on, 1 year that we have ached for her. But on this day we tried to celebrate. Cindy lou had family names that we girls took to the temple and did inititories for. sadly we were asked several times to please be reverent in the temple. we were reminiscing a bit to loudly. It made the day more bearable to have the peace of being in the temple to fill our hearts.
We dropped mom off and then I took Libby and we went and got our nails done-- that is one of Libby's favorite memories of Haley was that she would paint her nails all the time. Since I hate doing them to begin with I thought going would be super fun. Angela joined us and that was really nice
For dinner jackie colton brought over rolls and meat and chips for all of us. It was so nice that we had something to eat and not have to worry about. after dinner those that gathered with our family went to the grave site and paid our respects. Joe and Lindsay and their kids were in texas and we were sad they couldn't be with us. but marshall face-timed joe and linds so they could be with us as we let balloons off.
Libby picked roses from our garden to put on haley's grave, along with flowers that marshall picked out for her too.
We are so grateful that we have the Gospel! That we know we get to be together forever. This loss is not easy to bear but we know that Haley is happier, healthier and LOVING Life in heaven.
