my handy work

I have put my quilting away since I got pregnant. but I pulled it out for andy. it made me smile but libby hated having it out. but here is a picture of my handy work. Thanks to Marshall's niece addy I finally have 1 picture of me.
I spent hours hand stiching around the track and the trees and the cars and the signs. but it was all worth it in the end it will be a fun toy to take to church one day.

Peas and Rice

We have held off feeding libby foods because she has such a sensitive tummy. So in the last week or so we have been introcucing new foods. She has not really liked the oatmeal and so we have tried rice and she loves it. this week we tried peas and the first taste was not so hot but since then it has been a real hit. she will keeping eating as long as she gets to hold the spoon.

stuffy noses cause problems

Libby had a stuffy nose and we thought that it would be a good idea to have her sleep in her car seat for the night. What we didn't take into account is that she loves to sleep on her tummy. Well she didn't make much noise throughout the night so when I went in to get her this was what she looked like . she really is sleeping.

our little sleeper

We have found that Libby Loves her sleep. She likes to be covered and has to have her purple blanket to sleep. she now gets her self shoved right into the corner of her crib I think she likes the security she feels. she sleeps all through the night we have moved bedtime up and boy has it been nice 9:00 to 9:00 I will say is a blessing

Tennessee orange

Bill and Andy gave Libby a set of Tennessee onesies and a bow to go with. we have her dressed up just for them. I figured that she needed a picture to prove that orange is one of her colors

libby 6 months

Libby is already 6 months. She is 12.3 lbs and 23 3/4 tall. she is truely our little girl. SHe has been crawling for 2 weeks nows and boy she is getting fast. the only catch is that she will only crawl towards things she knows she cant have. newspaper, my paperwork, the remote controls, the phone.

Her doctor told us that she is way ahead of schedule for crawling and should expect the same for walking. So we are trying to make sure that nothing is out that can hurt her.

libby 5 months 2 weeks

Libby at 5 1/2 months. she never smiles for the camera. she just stares longingly at it. I sure that shes just trying to figure out how to get it.

we cant believe how our little baby grew up so fast. one day she is non mobile the next she cant be stopped.

I have had to figure out a new way to work . the living room floor while she plays doesn't cut it anymore. she wants all the grown up stuff she can get her hands on. so all my stuff she thinks is far game.

A new start

Well I figured that I wasn't going to start blogging because I am always at the computer working. What time I not working I am trying to be a successful mother and wife. I felt like since Libby was born I have not been able to keep in contact with everyone that I wanted to. So . . . I broke down and did it. Only becasue marshall opened a facebook accout and was tired of me bugging him to look at everyone wee know on it. I had to call My sister-in-law and she is so helpful. My plan is to put as many pictures on this so that you can all enjoy seeing our little family grow.
