Memorial Day For our Haley

On Memorial Day we took balloons to Haley's grave.  It has become a family tradition for her since her passing.  It began when the high school football team had a moment of silence before their game a few days after she passed and they gave each family member a balloon to release.  We have since had balloons for her birthday, and now for Memorial Day.

The kids laid on the ground to watch the balloons until they couldn't see them anymore.  They always argue over who's is going to make it to heaven first.  Lance always claims its his.

May 13-18 Libby graduates

Marshall took Libby for a walk/run and she totally crashed in the stroller.  He said she didn't make it too far before she was out cold.  This girl never falls asleep unless she is in her bed, so a nap in the stroller is quite the accomplishment.

Someone is trying to roll over!!!!

After the paint job in the living room we needed to hang pictures.
Marshall was gone so I did it myself! I was super proud!
With the the new pictures coming I will have a new temple picture and family ones too!

I don't have many pictures of me so I will take the ones that
Libby takes, especially if they are not totally blurry :)

My good friend found this at a store and gave it to
me.  Libby picked the photo she wanted
and we hung it in her room! It makes my heart
happy and sad all at the same time!

After the whole Mother's Day breakfast (which was fantastic) Libby brought me breakfast in bed a couple of days later.  Toast and Honey, it was super sweet of her!

This was a "hang out with dad afternoon." Libby being a lady (sort of)
and Reese holding her bottle all by herself!

LIBBY HOOPER GRADUATES AGAIN!!!
(Don't worry, she gets to graduate from preschool one more time before kindergarten)

Mothers Day

Because of these two precious girls I am a mother!

So this is titled Mother's Day but funny enough there was not
a single picture taken of me on Mother's day! (Surprise)

For breakfast I was given a menu to choose from,
It was typed up on the iPad and everything (Libby was my princess waiter).
I ordered V8 Juice, scrambled eggs and fried potatoes.

We went and visited Grandma Hooper before church to say Happy Mothers Day!
Reese and Libby did a great job of making her smile!

After church we went to Grandma Stonehocker's for dinner (Grandpa was cooking which gave Marshall an easy way out of dinner).  The Boys all helped in the kitchen.  My Mom and I were laughing at Marshall's salad making skills.  He was puling off a lettuce leaf and then tearing it to small pieces it took him a long time.  But it was well worth it just for the giggles from all us moms in the living room.

Birth Mother's Day

Birth-Mother's day is celebrated the Saturday before Mother's day.  We made 2 photo books for Jada from the pictures taken at placement and then from the newborn pictures that were taken when Reese was about 1 week old.  She got some yummy Dr Pepper cupcakes as well.  The best part was spending dinner together. Which even though our experience was awful (because of the poor service at the restaurant), the company was great.

We are so grateful for Jada and all she did and the choice that she made to place Reese in our home.  We love her and she will forever be our answer to prayers.
