Conference Weekend

After 5 1/2 years of hate for the color we painted in the living room we decided to repaint.  Libby wanted to help so bad.  I am glad we picked out a painting shirt.

New color is the grey, the old color is the pinkish tan

Reese's idea of helping

My brother Lance came and helped since he is       close to buying a house of his own and will likely be seeking our help soon :)

Somehow we were able to convince Libby that she should
"practice" for when she is older and actually gets to help
with rolling.  (She isn't really painting the white wall
behind Marshall)

Marshall painted himself into the corner ;-)

This is my game to keep Libby interested in Conference.
When she hears the word associated with the picture she gets
to eat the corresponding candy.  She usually still misses most
of the words, but hey, she sits and watches the whole day!
And it wasn't until the last session on Sunday before she
realized that they end every talk with "in the name of..."

After painting the boys went to the priesthood session and the girls decided to have dinner and let the kids play.  Lindsay made an awesome pulled pork and cilantro rice that we then made into Bajio salads and burritos.  We decided that we should make it again in the future.

Well the kids decided to take Hershey (grandma's dog) to play in the back yard.  They were given spoons and told they can look for worms and potato bugs.  When they were done they had unearthed grandpas carrots (ones he had left from the fall) with the help from the dog.  They were all dirty (dog included and needed a bath.  Problem was that none of us brought kids extra clothes.  So grandma offered up grandpas tee shirts.   The kids were so excited!
